Youth Martial Arts
What’s the appeal of soccer when you can break a board with your bare fist or show off your jump kick? At Elite Taekwondo, we have no doubt that Taekwondo is the perfect activity for your child. Unlike group sports, the martial arts have a unique focus on personal growth. Instead of wasting time sitting on the sidelines or warming the bench, every minute of our class is utilized for your child. The Elite Taekwondo program is high-energy, hands-on, and empowering.

The Benefits Of Martial Arts
Our kids program is a structured, yet fun environment, that teaches Taekwondo techniques to kids while instilling those all too important character traits found in the tenets of Taekwondo; Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and the Indomitable Spirit. Our class schedule is structured to give the student multiple opportunities to come to class and improve on their Taekwondo techniques. We highly recommend kids attend class 2-3 times per week. We also recommend they attend class on consistent days and times to create good training habits.
We offer specific color and Black Belt classes which we call Core classes. These classes run in 8 week cycles. During the 8 week cycle the student will work specifically on the materials for their belt level. We also offer All Belt classes which are designed to help them work on areas where they feel they need extra help, or to get in an extra workout. At the end of the 8 week cycle each student is tested on the Taekwondo techniques specific to their belt level, and if they pass they are promoted to the next belt level.
Students who come consistently and train hard, typically progress from their white belt to their black belt in about 30 months. If you have any questions regarding our kids program, please contact our studio.
One of the main benefits of Martial Arts is improving your strength and balance. Martial Arts consists of punching and kicking, which helps practitioners strengthen both upper and lower body muscles. Martial Arts utilizes your core strength while working on your flexibility and power. Martial Arts can also help greatly improve coordination and endurance.
Taekwondo sets a child up for success. Not only does it instill healthy habits and keep your child active, but it helps them build meaningful relationships, develop discipline and respect for others, and feel good about themselves. Here at Elite Taekwondo, our youngest students are taught with the utmost kindness and patience. We want to make them love martial arts as much as we do!
Confidence Building/Good Example
Elite Taekwondo is dedicated to empowering you with the confidence and self-esteem needed to succeed in everyday life. Martial Arts can bring out the positive qualities that have always been a part of you, whether that is inner calm, positive mental attitude, patience, or self-discipline. Martial Arts will help you overcome fear, anger, and self-doubt, and leave you feeling confident in any situation.
Variety Workouts/Stress Relief
Here are some lessons that can’t be taught in the classroom. Things like respect, self esteem, drive, and even failure probably weren’t covered on your child’s latest math test. Here at Elite Taekwondo, we feel that the martial arts are a crucial course in a child’s education. Our children’s Taekwondo classes get students active at a young age and foster a love for martial arts right off the bat. We teach punching and kicking drills, help them develop their form, and build their core strength using a variety of exercises. More importantly, we instill lessons of discipline, confidence, self-control, and perseverance.
In Martial Arts, students are taught how to help each other out in class. Whether that is to help hold boards to break or targets for you to kick to even being sparring partners. By creating a bond of trust and reciprocation, you and your sparring partner can then practice various striking combinations on each other and see how to make them work. Members at Elite Taekwondo have become close friends and help each other reach their goals.
