Teen Martial Arts

At Elite Martial Arts & Fitness we offer classes for teens through adults. Whether you want to learn Taekwondo for self defense, exercise, competition, or for recreational purposes our adult program is for everyone. As each individual journeys through their own Taekwondo experience they will see their bodies transform mentally and physically!

The Benefits Of Martial Arts

Taekwondo not only gives you the confidence of knowing that you are equipped with essential self defense skills needed to protect yourself and others, but it will also give you great satisfaction as you watch your body transform! Taekwondo will give you more energy, help you with weight loss, improve your flexibility and give you a confidence you didn’t have before. Taekwondo can also be helpful to students who are athletes in other sports as it increases agility, speed and awareness of your strengths and weaknesses that can be improved with training.

Classes

We offer classes appropriate for men and women. Each adult will cycle through an 8 week course and will be tested at the end of the 8 week cycle on the techniques specific to their belt requirements. Upon passing the testing requirements, the student will move on to the next belt level. Most students can achieve their Black Belt in about 24-30 months with consistent training.

Once you have achieved your Black Belt, your status is recognized here in the United States as well as internationally through the Korean Kukkiwon.

Fitness

One of the main benefits of Martial Arts is improving your strength and balance. Martial Arts consists of punching and kicking, which helps practitioners strengthen both upper and lower body muscles. Martial Arts utilizes your core strength while working on your flexibility and power. Martial Arts can also help greatly improve coordination and endurance.

Training

Are you ready to take your Taekwondo training up a notch? Our teen and adult classes are built for experienced martial artists who want to perfect their current skills and take up new challenges. In this course we focus on learning new sparring techniques, weapon training, and breaking more difficult boards.

Variety Workouts/Stress Relief

Here at Elite Taekwondo, we feel that the martial arts are a crucial course in a child’s education. Our teen’s Taekwondo classes get students active at a young age and foster a love for martial arts right off the bat. We teach punching and kicking drills, help them develop their form, and build their core strength using a variety of exercises. More importantly, we instill lessons of discipline, confidence, self-control, and perseverance.
